I LOVE FUTURAMA! What's Futurama? It's the best cartoon series I know of - there's no other cartoon that beats it! Simpsons you say? Nah, Simpsons is the second best.

The creator of Futurama is also the creator of Simpsons, so if you've seen Simpsons you'll recognize the drawing style, the wonderful atmosphere and the colorful characters.

Futurama is in the sci-fi comedy genre and is set in the year 3000 and beyond.

They all work for Farnsworth's intergalactic delivery company "Planet Express", which delivers just about anything to just about anywhere. This is the root of many of their adventures.

Philip J. Fry	Not very bright delivery boy from the 20th century who accidentally got himself frozen in a cryo-tube for 1000 years. Although he's content with his new life he occasionally misses his parents and friends from the 20th century. Used to deliver pizzas, now delivers intergalactic packages.
Bender Bending Rodriguez	A robot with a really bad attitude who used to bend girders for constructive purposes (i.e. suicide booths - that's why he quit). The only person he is honest to is himself. Has an MC6502 CPU for brains (very similar to the CPU in a Commodore 64). My favourite character.
Toronga Leela	Sensible cyclops alien with a big heart and impressive martial arts skills. She was abandoned as a baby and is the only alien cyclops on earth, if not the universe. Hence her loneliness. Used to work as a fate assignment officer but gave it up after meeting Fry.
Prof. Hubert Farnsworth	A very old, slightly senile, semi-mad scientist. He's a distant relative to Fry and runs "Planet Express" (see below) in order to fund his various research projects.
Hermes Konrad	Groovy Jamaican business manager who doesn't hesitate to bill anyone for anything. A true bureaucrat. Former Limbo champion.
Dr. Zoidberg	A lobster-like alien wearing sandals, working as the company physician at "Planet Express". Expert at human physiology (or so he says). Compared to the common earthling, his sense of humour, his opinions and his behaviour are quite odd. Always poor, always hungry.
Amy Wong	A naive engineer student with incredibly rich parents. Has a casual childish worry-free come-as-you-are attitude. Constantly looking for male company.
